Day 9

Standard

Dear Gia

Believe it or not another beautiful day in Ascot and with one day to go till the Olympics, temperatures are running high. So many Londoners are complaining about the additional traffic, road closures to be used for olympic traffic only and so on. Well, they cannot complain about the weather at the moment so they have to find something else.

I  say: Bring it on!! Stay at home if you like, but we are going this Saturday to watch the mens gymnastics, exciting, he? I cannot wait to be part of it and we are all really looking forward to it too. We were lucky to get the tickets, but then again we applied fro them and we paid for them too.

I doubt very much that I will be living so close to a city which will be hosting the Olympics in my lifetime, so I intend to embrace it all! Do watch it on tv as we will be waving 😉

My neck has beed painful for about 3 weeks now, so I made an appointment with an acupuncturist today and have had my treatment this afternoon. It was my first ever time and it feels good. We will have to see how it develops, but I’m looking forward to waking up with NO pain in my neck tomorrow.

G and I have a date tonight :::—))), the children have been invited for a sleep over and as the weather is so great, I will join G on the golf course  for 9 holes and then we will go out for dinner. The last time I was able to accompany G on the golf course was when I was pregnant with M so far to long ago. It will be lovely to literally walk into the sunset.

I have done my meditation this afternoon, we are still focusing on the heart, your intuitive Heart.

More and more I learn to trust the intuition of my  heart.

Hope you are well too

Day 8

Standard

Good morning Gia

I hope you are well. We are having another glorious day hear in Ascot I wish you were here too.

I have had my breakfast and enjoyed my meditation.

Today we are focussing on the heart centre, did you know that the mantra for the heart is yum?

My thoughts were all over the show, as I kept thinking of links to yum.

Yummy was the first to come to mind, and there is a saying in German, love goes through the tummy. I’m a little obsessed with food and eating at the moment. The only reason for this is that I’m trying to loose a few pounds, my jeans feel rather tight around the tummy. Whenever I try to shift some weight I get like this, I think about food constantly.

Never mind, my hummus is made and we are off to have a picnic with some friends in the beautiful Savill Gardens.

Hope your day brings you love too

Day 7

Standard

Dear Gia

good morning, today I chose to start my day with the meditation. Lovely!

We are enjoying the most glorious sunshine at the moment and after having had my breakfast outside, listening to the birds, feeling and smelling the beautiful sunshine I sat down at my computer, wrote a great update to my team at Temple Spa and then enjoyed my time with meditation.

I feel like I’m breaking out of a mould and running free (if only my legs would carry me). I love the thought of leaving the past behind and loving the new.

“today I commit to giving and receiving love in its full power and glory”

Day 5 meditation with Chopra

Standard

Dear Gia

what a glorious day we have had, the sun shone brightly all day, it was amazingly beautiful.
The feeling of the sun warming the skin and now that is has set, my skin is still tingling and and has a slight colour too. I feel alive and so well, even though my back is hurting as I have been in the garden all day.
The children have put up a tent in the garden and have settled for the night, I wonder how long it will take for the first to come back into the house? Hopefully it will not be a long night.
I have only now managed to do my meditation and it is starting to get a little easier to find “the gap” although my thoughts still go on a walk about.
Today thought is
Love us what I am, what I give, and what I receive

Have  a great start to the week

Day 4 meditation with Chopra

Standard

Dear Gia

It’s Saturday, I’ve been to a health and wellbeing event this morning and now that I’m back I have had the luxury of time to embrace day 4.

It is such a great program as I can fit it into my day when I have a moment. The time passes so fast I cannot believe it has come to an end when I hear the sound of the bell ringing. What a lovely sound it is too.

I feel good and am looking forward to having a barbecue with G and A. M is away for the weekend on a Guides camping trip, and believe it or not it has not rained! Hopefully I have not put a spell on it by saying this. We will be collecting her tomorrow evening, cannot wait to hear all about it.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend too

Lots of love

Dear Gia

the mantra for today is freedom to forgive.

“I forgive; I release; I let go of anything and anyone that keeps me from my highest good”

Have a great evening, it is Friday and finally, finally the start of the summer holidays.

Have to dash as I’m meeting a friend for lunch, I know I am a very lucky girl, and I have a date with my husband tonight too, even more lucky.

Lots of love
